At the heart of Amy’s professional journey lies a deep-seated commitment to fostering well-being and resilience.
When working with clients, Amy practices a person-centered approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and building a strong therapeutic alliance. Amy believes empathy and compassion are necessary components for a person’s journey to healing. Pursuing a second career later in life allows Amy to utilize her lived experiences in conjunction with proven therapeutic techniques for the best possible clinical outcomes.
Amy sees clients for a variety of concerns: ADHD, Autism, anxiety,
depression, grief, loss, fertility and postpartum issues, PTSD and trauma. Amy works with adults, adolescents and couples.
Amy is a certified facilitator for SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) and enjoys helping engaged and married couples using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Amy trained in spiritually integrated counseling at Liberty University and can offer a biblical worldview, if needed.
Additionally, Amy received specialized training in art therapy. Creative and expressive arts therapy adds an additional dimension to treatment, offering new pathways to promote healing and further personalize the experience.
Amy completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and her Master of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, practicing under the supervision of Chari Westcott, LPC-S.

Individual Session: $150
Couples Session: $180
Amy is considered out-of-network with insurance.
