Dr. Clif Cummings has been in full-time vocational ministry for over 46 years. His ministry experiences include serving as youth pastor, associate pastor, and lead pastor. In each of these roles, he was called upon to counsel individuals, parents, and couples struggling with life’s challenges. As a counselor with Free Indeed Therapy, Clif provides life coaching, relationship building, pre-marriage and marriage counseling, and crisis and grief counseling.
“I view myself more as a coach than a counselor. My goal as a life and relationship coach is not to solve your problems but to provide the knowledge and skills to help you solve them. My life experiences as a husband, father, pastor, and chaplain, along with specialized training in stress management and assisting individuals in crisis, provide a perspective that helps me relate to individuals who need a listening ear and some advice to help resolve various conflicts.”
Clif received his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Liberty University and his Masters in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a Critical Incident Stress Management Certification from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is an approved instructor for the International Critical Incident Stress
Foundation in basic and advanced courses for assisting individuals in crisis and group crisis management.
Clif volunteers as the Sugar Land Police Department’s law enforcement chaplain and is Master Level Credentialed as a law enforcement chaplain from the International Conference of Police Chaplains.
He has been married to his wonderful wife, Pamela, since 1975. They have two adult children and the greatest granddaughter in the world.
