Adolescent Therapy: Personalized Support for Growth and Healing

Areas of Focus:

  • Trauma: For teens who have experienced trauma, we create a safe space to process painful emotions and memories. Our trauma-informed approach utilizes EMDR and TF-CBT treatment modalities to help them heal at their own pace, building resilience and a sense of control over their lives.

  • Depression: Depression can look different in every teen—whether it’s feeling sad and withdrawn, irritable, or overwhelmed. We help them identify the roots of their depression, challenge negative thinking patterns, and develop healthy coping strategies to manage their emotions.

  • Anxiety: Anxiety can have a big impact on everyday life—whether it’s stress about school, relationships, or general worries. While some anxiety is normal and even adaptive, problematic anxiety can cause significant disruptions to schoolwork and social life. We utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge the cycle of anxiety using practical tools that help them manage their thoughts and regain confidence.

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD): Using a special Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) protocol known as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we help teens address OCD by working through obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors in a structured, effective way.

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum: At Free Indeed Therapy, our goal is to support teens in developing healthier coping mechanisms, emotional resilience, and a better understanding of their unique experiences.
